Origin Garage Doors
Origin Garage Doors are specially designed to suit a variety of different needs. The doors are hinged - meaning that they can be swung open from the sides, ensuring maximum space inside the garage.
As the garage door comes in a French door configuration, it means vehicles can safely get in and out. However, there are no restrictions that require both doors to be open at the same time, so if customers simply want to gain entry to their garage by foot, they can just open one door. Origin Garage Doors are available in the same door panel designs as the Origin Front Door, meaning that customers have the opportunity to achieve design consistency.
Origin Garage Doors have been specially designed to be durable, and the high quality hinges – of which can be marine grade – ensure the doors remain stable even in bad weather conditions. The garage doors are available with four threshold options – weathered, non-weathered, mobility or none, so the doors will be built according to how your customers would like to use the door and the garage space. Manufactured with a Thermimax core and aluminium layers, Origin Garage Doors have increased security and thermal retention.
The cost of Origin Garage Doors will vary. This is because the doors are bespoke and the cost of the doors depends on the design choices made, ranging from the size and type of handle to the actual panel design of the door.
What can affect the cost of garage doors?
There are many factors that can impact the trade cost of Origin Garage Doors, including:
Size of the garage door
The larger the garage door, the more expensive the trade cost will be. Although standard sizes are available, custom-designed doors that are made to fit the existing frame will inevitably cost more.
The panel design
Customers can choose a custom-designed garage door, which means the cost will vary depending on their wishes. Available in the same panel design options as the Origin Front Door, there are ten unique panel designs to choose from, ranging from classic styles to ultra-modern aluminium panels. Customers can choose a design that is suitable for them from the Sandringham and Kensington range of panels.
Material
Origin's premium grade aluminium has all of the advantageous properties of regular aluminium, including its strength, durability and non-corrosive element. However, this premium-grade material is coated in a high-grade powder to ensure it is scratch-resistant, which will impact the trade cost of the garage doors.
Colours
With over 150 colour options and finishes for customers to choose between for their garage doors, the colour and finish chosen can impact the trade cost. Customers can choose between a matt, satin or gloss finish for their garage doors, and they also have the option to choose a dual colour, meaning that the interior and the exterior colours of the garage doors are different. If customers choose one of the six popular colours from the Kensington range, they will be available on a one-week lead time. Other colours and panels from the Sandringham range are available in five weeks. Colours outside of the popular colour range may carry different surcharges.
Replacement/new
The circumstances surrounding the installing of the garage door will affect the trade cost. For example, the cost will vary if the door is a replacement or for a brand new aperture.
Accessories and hardware
Accessories and hardware for garage doors include any handles, bars and windows that are requested by the customer. Customers can choose between a variety of styles of premium stainless steel handles, aluminium offset handles and bar handles. The offset aluminium range is available in four colours – white, chrome, black and stainless steel, so your customers can choose colours to complement or contrast their new garage door.
